2005: Elected as Mayor in the City of North Olmsted.
Won the May Primary with 69% of the
vote. In the November General Election, won in
all 36 of the city’s voting precincts,
earning 77% of the vote.
2001: Elected as President of Council in the
City of North Olmsted. Made history by being
the first Independent ever elected in the city.
Victory margin of 13 percentage points,
winning in 39 of the city’s 44 former precincts.
1999: Re-elected to a second term as Councilman-at-Large.
Unchallenged in that year's Primary
Election. Finished first among six candidates
in the General Election.
1995: Elected as Councilman-at-Large in the City
of North Olmsted during this first try for public
office. Finished first in the Democratic Primary,
and was the only candidate to
unseat an incumbent in that year’s General Election.
